I have three heroes.
One is a survivor of the Holocaust who won the Nobel Peace Prize, just trying to make the world a better place.
The second also survived the Holocaust, and was a very well-known pianist.
The third was The Incorruptible, the leader of the French Revolution. He believed so much in what he did, and died for his cause. (I love the martyrs.)

well definetly i hav a hero.....but in my view hero is not that who acts in a movie or performs stunt......the real hero is a person who understand's others feelin...always tries to help people and feels the hungerness of other people.....feels the pain of a person who is not gettin one time food in a day...and helps them.....

we all know some animals do not understand the pain in other animals....but we humanbeings are gifted by god to understand this and communicate and help.....but now adays we human try best to live like animals and ignore the poor one.....and then they say we have developed lot.....do u thing this is development or humanbieng goin back as an animal

Christopher Reeve - was not just an actor..
he did a lot to help others even though at the end he was himself incapacitated and ill. He gave with his heart, his time, his money for research into trying to help paraplegics walk again..

The fireman of New York who gave selflessly, bravely of themselves, they will always be remembered all over the world..

Jimmy Carter because of his humanitarian accomplishments and because he is a Christian that is smart about the whole thing, being open-minded, but still holding onto the core beliefs. He is a smart, well respected, and compassionate man who I think has done more for mankind after his Presidency than during.

This sounds cliched.

My mom.

Why? Because she is the strongest woman I know. She has sacrificed her life for those she loves. I know all of her flaws and love her more for them, because given all that she is still the most selfless, brave, and heroic woman I have ever been priveleged to meet.

And I'm not just saying that.
