hi can anyone tell me where i can get some good online advice about why my dsl is downloading so slow have spoken to isp and its something to do with my pc which i bought 2 months ago,sure its probably something simple but i cant figure it out,even when i use download accelerators\managers im still only downloading at a rate of 26kbs heres my pc specs......win XP home edition sp2 , amd sempron processor 3000+ 1.8 ghz ,192 mb of ram.

The usual reason dsl or cable slow down is that you have a virus or spyware. Are you running any antivirus software, and is it up to date?

Download ad-aware and Spybot search and destroy. Spyware can slow down your connection, so that is most likely the problem.
