Just trying to get some thoughts, I know other companies are out there, but I wanted to see what a consumer would think about this idea. Hours will be from noon to 2am everyday. The goal would be to help keep people off of the road when they have been drinking and need some more beverages or smokes. I was thinking in a college town with a set fee for each delivery, or doing a minimum dollar amount and the delivery will be free.

Specifically Southern Cali?

I don't think it is lazy, I think it is a great idea and would be very popular. You'd have to get a license for it, and also one of the scanners to detect fake ideas. It would help people from thinking that they have to drive to go get the stuff. Also, to the person a few above me, they have a service that drives drunk people... IT'S CALLED A TAXI!!! Although, enough people don't use it. No matter where you go, people go into stores to buy alcohol for minors, so you may have the same problem. But I say, do it! Good Luck!

That would be so freakin' awesome! I saw a movie that had something called The Pink Dot Company, which delivered party supplies and groceries to your door at all hours of the day and night. I have often wished that such a service existed where I lived, when I am too inebriated to go out and get my own schtuff.

Well you might have a hard time buying beer or wine after beer selling hours. 2am seems pretty late to be out and about. But it is a good idea that people currently do. However I think your better bet would be centering it around restaurants in which people can call in orders to you and then you would deliver...just a thought...

You'll never get a license to do this. A liquor store or bar has to have a liquor license, you'd have to have one, too. I can't imagine you'd ever get one for this type of service.

It's a great idea. Not an original one, there used to be packaged liqour delivery but it kind of phased out a little. I often wondered why....

For women, it's called a significant other. For guys it called a best buddy.

Actually it sounds like a great idea, but I'm sure there will be all manner of legal issues.

Your goal is to keep drunks off the street, right? It will only work if you take away their car keys when you drop off their booze.
