reality t.v sucks, for real. And you know it. Why are they so attracted to this????

good question - i guess because the most annoying and bland people on tv are real people like you and me and actors and actresses play people who are clearly not real. But I agree - reality tv has seen it's better days.

The fact is that the world is getting more complicated day by day, so the average level of intelligence has definitely risen higher. People love to watch those movies/dramas on T.V which is rather different from their usual life. Since the average people have become very intelligent and cunning so these large mass of population loves to watch simple annoying and bland people.

Being Bono's bug-goggles, I believe I am an expert on this subject.
It is because they have money. That's it. People who have money and appear on t.v. seem important in their own minds. It's just like anyone who stands up on a soapbox and gets the crowds attention, politicians, annoying peace activists........self-absorbed singers.
Even that twirp Adolf Hitler has women screaming, crying, feinting whenever he shook hands with the crowd.

They show the darker and more devious side of people, as well as the fact that the shows are so outrageous and sometimes sexually driven that most people cannot help but to stare. It is a televised car wreck that people cant help but to stare at on their way to another program.

They relate to people. Like the real world has had gay people, people living with HIV, anerexic people, alcoholics, drug addicts. And you get to see these people living with these things everyday of their lives. It's something that most people can relate too. And it might even help them deal with their own problems.

I agree with you. I would say they have good connections. A rich father or business owner. I don't know. But we would be better off without them.

because the people you see on tv are being paid to act like people thay think you want to see when you see them in books or on the street thay are being thare true self just like you and I just that every ody knows them.
