First, be honest. Second, make sure you are selling something.

I remember with Amway many years ago. We "sold circles", which is to say we sold people on selling people on selling people on selling people. When I asked about selling soap or whatevery (they really did have a lot of good stuff), the people looked like I fell off the moon. Since then, last I heard, Amway expects you to sell a little soap if you expect to get the benefits of selling circles of people selling circles of people.

Most of the Internet MLM is similar. Like the chain letters of old, if I open a website or start sending emails to people, asking them to pay for the priviledge of opening websites and sending emails to people for the priviledge of opening websites and sending emails to people--you get the idea, so who is selling a product or service? Chain letters were deemed illegal years ago, but now--now we have the Internet and the postal inspectors can take a flying leap, right?

Convince people, honestly, that you honestly are selling a service or product.

First of all you need a good source of leads....people that would be interested in the types of products mlm's promote...I have been successful at this over the past 5 years...

As you know good names are hard to find...everyone says theirs are good, but as you probably already know, few really are...there are usually duplicates, names of people who have move, died, etc.

My opinion, the best way to get someone to join your team is to have them fall in love with your product or service. I lead with product, once they are hooked on product I then tell them about the opportunity. Let the products do the convincing!
