I think he is quite intelligent to learn Iranian, he will be able to apply for bilingual jobs, and that language may be in demand. (and talking - intelligently - does make life more fun, I agree).

I'm confused...what on earth is wrong with that? Expanding your understanding of people and language is the only way we can hope for a better world. The story of Babel is a tragic one in my opinion. Imagine how much different this world would be if we could all just speak to each other in our own words. A lot of grief and lives would be spared. My two cents.

tell him: "mageh sob kaleh paacheh khordi?" or "cheghadeh fak vazeyti !" or "mishe kamtar harf beh zani ?" or "saramo khordi !"

trns: "Did you eat kaleh paacheh for breakfast?" , "How much you act your mouth !" , "Can you please talk less ?" , "You've eaten my head !"
