There's a possibility that she is wanting to end the series... Killing Harry off would be a painless (but not for him) way to do that so she would not be continually hounded for another book... However, she knows how upset Harry's fans will be and hatemail is always unpleasent... **S** She will probably take all of this into consideration as she writes the book...

I heard from "Entertainment" magazine that in the newest book J.K. Rowling is writing year 7 I think, that 2 of the main characters die, she said so herself on a british tv thing.

THE NEW ONE THATS COMMNIG UP IS SELLIN BOOTLEG IN LOS ANGELES. THEY SAID HARRY POTTER DIES AND THEN THEY FIND OUT HE WAS NEVER A WIZARD OR HAD ANY SPECIAL POWERS INFACT HE WASNT EVEN A LIVING HUMAN. THATS WHAT EVEYONE SAID THAT HAS BOUGHT THE BOOT LEG VERSION ITS SELLING FOR 400 DOLLARS ON THE STREETS

It may be next year, some say it will be on 7/7/2007, J.K.Rowling said that she didn't finish it yet, 2 characters will die , and one will have a reprieve.

well, I heard that the sky over england is being taken down for the selling of the seventh book, so I don't know what'll be up after that.
