i've been thinking about geting my name put into a tattoo that i was thinging about getting is that stupid?

You guys are all a bunch of idiots....the answerers that is. Of course it's not stupid to get your own name tattooed on yourself...alot of people do it. It's sexy, it shows self confidence and independence, and gets your name out there....meaning everyone knows who you are......someone like Angelina Jolie would do something like that....and it would look sexy. Just get it in a sexy spot and not too big.

YES! It makes people think that you are either arrogant or are so stupid/substance abusing that you cannot remember your own name when you wake up in the morning. In the same vein, it is also stupid to get the name of a boyfriend etc. tattooed on your body. Relationships end but inking is forever. Don't put something on your body that is going to look stupid when you're sixty.

NO not at all I was thinking of doing the same thing it lets people kno who you really are and the name thing is "IN" now DAH ex: on belts an every thing else so I say gone head an do what you do don't worry about what other people think its not their name nor their body so more power to you!!!

no. a guy he got sick passed out in another country. he lived in th US was vacationing in France. well he lost his memory and nobody knew who he was no ID no pass port a doctor looked him over found his tattoo with his name and was able to find his hotel so he could call his family he has now fully recovered.

It isn't as bad as getting someone else's name tattooed on you. It's your skin, and it's your money. Do whatever makes you happy.

If you are into dangerous sports, it might help the medical examiner ID your corpse. I believe race car drivers used to have to have it done.

No, it's not weird. I have an ankle bracelet that is my name in Egyptian hieroglyphics. Egyptology just fasinates me!

No, at least if u have amnesia or something you can remeber your name, having it tatooed on yourself is an advantage!
