everytime i want to download a pdf file, a window pop up and says encountered a problem and need to close.?

buit i can download any other software, game... but not a pdf file.
Please help me fix this propblem. Thank

You may need to update your Adobe Reader. It can get like that when you need to run "detect and repair", too.

Sometimes, if what you're downloading isn't created by Adobe, Reader won't like what it sees and will not touch it.

I've seen all three conditions with different machines.
