I wanted them to win but Italy was very good. Just curious.

No! France should and would have won if it wasnt for Italy using their Make-Zidane-Mad move!
They planned to say something to Zidane to make him mad and to do something he would regret to get a red card so Italy could have a solid chance at winning. Man, I think Zidane shud have beat the $hit out of that guy, instead of just a headbutt.
But Italy is still a really strong team and so is France, and it was still a good game.

Italy dominated the first half. France took the whole game after that. The second half Italy barely had any attempts on net and France should have had a second penalty. Malouda was slide-tackled from behind, and the player who did this wasn't even near the ball! In extra time France had tons of chances they played much better, and again Italy had close to no chances. France couldn'tfind the back of the net and thats what really counted. Italy won in penalty shots. The only thing that amazes me is how Italy had more possesion than France.

I think neither teams should have played in that Final. Where Italy were Australia should have been, and where France were Portugal should have been.
The penalties France & Italy got agianst these teams were dives!!!!!

France lost because Trezeguet missed his shot by like 1 mm not because Zidane got sent off 6 minutes before the end of the match. It's that simple

France lost with or without Zidean in the ending minutes. Cause they lose to penalties kicks not in 120 mins play.

No, they lost in the shoot-out..... Obviously Italy was the better team.
