Let me guess. You aren't "American" ... you are "African-American"
If so, I'm guessing you are at least four generations American.
If you do call yourself an American, then I apologize. If you are a recent immigrant, stop reading the New York Times.
Also, did you smoke crack before writing that answer to your own rhetorical question? Israel is a predominantly Jewish country. Hitler killed millions of Jews. So therefore your logic is that we hate Jews because we are like Hitler, but yet we support another terrorist nation, namely Israel, which is comprised mainly of the people we hate.
You insane lefties seriously need to tone down the rhetoric and step back into reality. Black (African) nations are the ones that answer your question. While I can't name the two, I am sure that of the five worst in Africa, Sierra Leone and Sudan are up there.
Don't confuse that as calling blacks bad people. Like the select few Muslim extremists running planes into buildings, the leaders of dictatorships in Africa are part of a small segment of that continent that is what you describe in the question.
