well cheating is never the right thing to do and i never have . but married people sometimes take there spouses for granted so much that the other person becomes resent full and lonely and sad and they look for something and most cases someone to fill that void they are missing in there lives. and married people grow apart they don't talk to each other , so the other person really has no ideal there is a problem until it slaps them in the face . and lets face if all married couples would take the time to let there partner know how much they are loved wanted and needed there would not be any reason for cheating . well this is just my opinion i have been with my husband for 29 years and never cheated but we all so have been though alot of ups and downs during our marriage . but i feel when you truly love the person you are married to you would never want to hurt them or disrespect them by cheating on them . i hope this helps.

Society today portrays this is OK. I have seen so many answers where people give the "green light" not to feel guilty about having an affair, considering life at home is "missing something."
This DO WHAT YOU WANT attitude destroys more families and marriages, because "I" come first. If "My" needs aren't meant first...
if you can't hacket, I'l get my jacket.
"desperate housewives" says its the best thing to happen to your life. Your vows and your word mean NOTHING anymore.
This is for those who cheat, not for those who desire are faithful.

The love of a good woman is not enough to change a chronically unfaithful man. When it comes to sex, some men are completely fantasy driven and, hence appear insatiable. Some men are always unfaithful to every woman they are with.

Those who cheat are looking for something that they are not getting in their marriage. Some people think that it is mainly about sex, but most typically it is about feeling desired or validation. None of this makes cheating right, it just explains it better.

I guess the real reason is because they are not ready for the relationship they were already in. Or because they want revenge on wat the opposite gender had done to them in the past.
