meh, tough question. I gotta say

A- either holmstrom or draper
this is becuase Lidstrom has proven himself, as has datsyuk, but datsyuk doesn't have enough...yet. Holmstrom had a breakout year, he might get the A, but so could Draper.

They need a young but proven captain, excatly what Datsyuk is, Lidstrom holds onto the A and Zetterberg gets one again for being young and proven

Hands down i would have to go with Lidstrom as captain and Datsyuck as alternate but i think Zetterburg and Chelios are also good candidates as well.

I have to agree with you...at least on the Lidstrom and Draper. Don't know who my vote for second assistant. I am still reeling from Shanny leaving and Belfour being signed tomorrow.
