i think it was a great trade for milwakee. they lost a good point guard in tj ford but they'll be adding a power forward who can be andrew bogut's partner in the frontcourt. i think villanueva(13pts/game last year) has more upside compared to ford, he already proved last year that he can score(he scored 50 pts in a game), he is athletic and can jump out of the court, he is still young(only 22) and he's versatile, he can play all three frontcourt positions. he has a lot to improve on his game but if he just keeps on working he's going to be big someday...
ford's departure will mean that mo williams will assume the point guard duties full time. i believe in what mo williams can do and i think he has what it takes to run the offense in milwakee. he averaged 12pts/game and 4ast/game, not bad for a player coming off the bench and playing limited minutes...
so in the end i feel the bucks will benefit in this trade in the long term...

I think someone in Milwaukee should be arrested for pulling that off. TJ Ford can't stay healthy and was not even the best PG in Milwaukee last year. Charlie Villenueva is a better and younger player.

It was a great move because they picked up Villaneuva. A much more important player than Ford.
