Scientists believe these universes exist less than one millimetre away from us. In fact, our gravity is just a weak signal leaking out of another universe into ours. These other universes contain space, time and strange forms of exotic matter, even a different you and me.

I suggest reading a book called "Einstein's Dream" Its one of my favorites

Its a fantastic book, though short, and explores the question you are asking.

I'm very interested in quantum and particle physics, but I don't have nearly enough background to give a clear "fact or fiction" response. What I do know is that as we solve more mysteries, we uncover new ones.

A lot of advanced physics is derived from mathematical models first, and then put into analogies that make sense to us visually (often with a loss of information or accuracy). I think if you really wanted to decide for yourself if parallel universes existed, you'd have to decide what level of proof you want.

Also know that analogies break down really quickly unless you know the math behind them. The idea of these universes being "less than one millimeter" away from us goes beyond the concept of distance. As I understand, we're talking about distances where both matter and energy are probibalistic waveforms, hence the "many possibilities" analogy. The concept of one object being "close" to another gets pretty fuzzy.

But to answer your question, yes, I think they exist, because that would be elegant.

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to prove or disprove the existence of parallel universes. Especially when you have little information about the person to which you are answering.

One known method to witness parallel universes is by ingesting DMT. This is an illegal drug and is registered as schedule 1 by the DEA. Please do not try this at home etc. I mention it only as a search aid in your quest to understand the nature of parallel universes.

A very good book is "Parallel Universes" (go figure) by Dr. Fred Alan Wolf. I found a copy of it here for 5 bucks:

The first book I know about on this subject came out in 1901. It is called The Unseen Universe and a reprint of it can be found here.

All of quantum physics and string physics and all of the mathematical constructs that verify the physical laws of cosmology, relativity, and thermodynamics predict and validate more space-time dimensions than the four we see.

This video is where you should start to understand the nature of the universe(s).

Fact...

It was already founded by trying to solve / find a theory to explain everything by the support of the string theory that the Universe has eleven dimensions and actually exists in a mutli-verse.

The eleventh dimension is super gravity.

In a simple example look at what results from a prism..What we see as an off white light has many spectrum's and colors. Some colors are totally absorbed by other colors...Now take that example and compare it to time...

You have to remember our minds are small and some things are pretty large to try to fit in them!
alot of people fail to acknowledge there is a God..partially because he so to vast ...Of course the same people say their solid waste material has no odor....don't tell that to the flies swarming around it.

Oh yeah they exists. I got one in my bathroom. I tell you the foul things that come out of there. I think I saw an aligator once. I like to call it my personal dark portal.

IN all reallity. Enstein predicted the existance of warmholes. These are like shortcuts from one location to the other. They have speculated that they are very small. I can't tell you for sure if they really exists, haven't seen one - except one in my bathroom. I don't know about parallel universes.

No, it's a person that created the leak. They would have had to be so smart to know how to levitate and for a reason to make a change like that. Obviously, the scientists don't know what they're talking about.

Philosophy. String theory suggests that gravity is a weak signal because gravitons leak over into other dimensions. We have no way of verifying this and therefore it is still considered philosophy.

I believe anythings possible. The more we uncover the more stranger our universe becomes. I just recently saw this show on PBS and it was really interesting and it summarized some of what you asking about, very cool stuff.

Just as our imagination is not limited to what we see and understand, neither is nature.
