Yes, you are over doing it. Just keep the soil moist not wet, AND GET SOME VENTALATION IN THAT CLOSET!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, that's way too much water. They should be soaked well, then left for the soil to get really dry, then soaked well again. What I used to do was set them in the sink, pour water in the pot until it poured out the bottom, then let them sit there in the sink until they were no longer dripping from the bottom. Then take them back to their saucers and let the soil get really dry; four or five days. Then soak them again. If they get too big to carry to the sink, try soaking them until the water runs out, but give them a nice, deep saucer. After an hour or so, lift it off its saucer, empty the saucer, and replace. They do need to drain.

yes..too much water. Stop it! LOL Make sure soil needs water before adding any. Plants (most of 'em,) will recover better from not enough than from too much water. Too much water and the road to recovery is long.

I hope your talking about flowers. But whatever type of plants they are yes that's too much water. Try doing it every few days instead.

Don't water them everyday, but do check the moister in the pot ;). Stick your fingerin the soil, and if it is dry, water them, but if it is moist, don't water them. lol
