Scorpions generally enter the house because they are either hungry or thirsty. Most of the time they are just looking for a water sourse. Usually they are seen in drains or around water sources. You can kill scorpions by mixing a little boric acid in small containers of water placed around the house as a bait. You should examine your house for any obvious crevices or gaps that allow them easy access to your house. Diatomaceous earth, when sprinkled around the house works as an effective deterrent but will need to be re-applied. you can also set out scorpion traps using wet burlap placed in remote places around the home. The idea is to attract scorpions to remote areas rather than applow them access to your house. My final tip is to use a blacklight to spot the scorpions at night. They are phosphorescent and will glow blue/white/green under a blacklight.

You don't get rid of scorpions - you get rid of ants. The scorpions are following their food source (the ants) and finding shelter, food and water all within your home. Get rid of the ants, put in a good perimeter defense against more, and your scorpion problem will migrate back outside.

well from experience scorpions like dark places during the night etc. look in shoes under the sink and in cabinets. under furniture. Killing them is a different problem if you dont have pets a heavy duty insecticide will work. Or if you can afford it get your house tented. But they do like to hide. I know when i lived in Florida and arizona i had to check all the shoes in the morning and at night. and look under things they are scary and pesky. GOOD LUCK. you want to get them out of the house soon as you can to avoid stings. DO NOT EVERY TRY TO PICK THEM UP.

You spray for scorpions when you spray for roaches. The same spray that kills the roaches will also kill the scorpions.
