"To stand strong and be wrong" is otherwise known as being stubborn or bull headed. A person needs to be adult enough to admit to their mistakes. It's stupidity and egotistical to NOT change your mind for the right reason. I can respect a person who has the courage to admit they were wrong, but I would only laugh at the person who can't admit they might have made a mistake.

I suppose people should change their minds when wrong, but some people change their minds to appease others.

Stand strong and be wrong? About what? And who is to say whos right or wrong? Your question sounds loaded too me, because most things are not as simple as that. If a person is standing strong, that person is standing strong for a reason. Just because you think that person is wrong doesnt make it so. Opinions are like arseholes, we all have one.

Change your mind 4 the right reason. Caz if you keep the other stand and be wrong and have that as a habit you can get in allot of trouble and look real stupid

Change your minds for the right reasons. Only idiots want to be wrong while people are dying! Hope it is one of theirs!

It has nothing to do with cutting and running. We no longer have any control and the only thing we are accomplishing is getting people killed!

It depends on what the person who is standing strong or changing there mind feels.

change your mind for the right reason because most issues change and are not static. To admit one is wrong takes courage. I respect the thinkers that know other possibilities are possible. Have a nice evening.

I think standing strong and being wrong is worse. At least you can stand proud for doing the right thing.

If you found out that you were wrong about something go ahead and change your mind. It would show great character and that you are an open minded thinker to actually consider that your opinion is not always fact and that you can still learn.

Digging your heels in even when you know you are wrong. I'm guilty of this, as I'm sure most people are. It takes a lot more guts to admit that you were wrong and to change your mind.

The worst is weak and change mind for the wrong reason.

Since I believe that you are referring to the war in Iraq.

I believe that W. is strong and right.

I believe that his cut-and-run-critics are weak and wrong.
