How can we stop Congress from wasting money. (Ex: Congress spends $625 dollars on their new toilet seats.)?

I guess all the people who don't know about this don't even have connections with their state governors?

I don't watch MTV or any of that nonsense at all. I don't watch T.V. that often, but I do sometimes. Amazing that the average American can find 3-7 hours a day watching television!

They will always waste money. The only thing we can do is to limit the amount of money they are given to spend.

Spending caps should serve as just that, not something you adjust higher as your spending exceeds them. It is great be Congress.

I am pretty sure that those $625 toilet seats are not real, I've never seen anything that said the govt spent that kind of money on toilet seats. But if there was that type of expenditure on a financial report, I bet the price was padded to explain a lot of secret spending that the government doesn't want to explain to taxpayers. It is easier to look like an idiot that spends to much on toilet seats than it is to try to explain to an average citizen why they don't need to know how that particular money was spent. That sort of thing probably happens alot. But what to I know, I'm no one special.

We can't, thats the problem. They are a bunch of lawyers that draft laws to look out for themselves, and glorify thy name. Nothing short of a revolution can stop those assholes.
