I listen music on IPOD. Some people say its harmful for the ear on the long run. Some insite into such a suggestion please..

Yes. I live in Thailand and the King himself ruled that discos must cut down the volume of music being played as it was deafening to the people that worked in them. It was played at about 120 decibels and they were told that 80 decibels was to be the maximum. The police spot check this

Yes, actually listening to soft music for long periods of time will damage your hearing.
No worries though, I read that scientists have managed to regrow the little hairs in ears that allow hearing in guinea pigs and they expect to be able to do it on humans in 10 years.

Yeah!!! You'll be getting fitted for hearing aids eventually!! The Ipod manufacturers don't give a toss about that, just your money!!!

YES it is!! Even listening to music at a moderate volume can damage you if you use earbuds.

Well, yea!!! Ask any hearing specialist and they will say the same thing. Turn down the volume.
