You shouldn't! Don't come to Delaware! In Wilmington, the state's largest city, the crime rate is horrible. In the southern two-thirds of DE, cops give out tickets like condoms to a prostitute. Plus, the state doesn't even allow fireworks on our nation's birthday! How unpatriotic!

Because I live here, and if I live here then you KNOW it's special. ; ) LOL

Eh, not the most interesting state, but it's a fairly nice little state. No sales tax and in close enough proximity to other places if you can't find anything to do around here. The north end here is at least close still to the beaches (always heard that ours are considered nice), Philly just a little north of here, a few hours from NY, couple hours from D.C., Baltimore, not too far from Jersey and Maryland beaches, etc. Mostly you can get to suburbs, country, city landscapes or other states in a pretty short amount of time, we're close to a lot. : )

P.S. There was plenty of fireworks happening in my area...

No sales tax!
Yes, fireworks are allowed, unfortuantely, some people do it in their backyards where they can easily set fire to their house if not their neighbor's!...don't listen to the first guy.
I find New Castle County is a good place to live. The whole place of Wilmington is not all inner city, it covers a big area. Sussex County have the beaches too.
