what's the weirdest, true thing that ever happened to you?

when I was 12, I was going into a grocery store and a guy was standing near the entrance of the store. He had on a long white lab coat and weird glasses. he looked like a mad scientist. He asked me to spit in a spoon, he said he was collecting spit samples. I told him noooo. Turned out to be Candid Camera

I was on my way to work at 5:00AM in December of 1998 and saw a UFO above a chemical plant. It hovered for about three minutes and then went straight up in the air at a really fast speed and disappeared. I am an aviation buff and read about it all the time. There is no aircraft capable of what I saw and meteors and falling stars do not behave that way. Weather balloons and satalites do not hover or move rapidly in vertical directions. I believed then and believe now that it was a UFO. Don't believe in UFO's? How come every time there is a plethora of UFO sightings technology explodes. In the early 80's computers took up entire rooms and needed their own AC units and magnetic tape. By the early 90's they sat on your desk. Today we have blackberry's. You figure it out. WE aren't that smart.

my two girlfriends and I got stuck in this really snowy road in the middle of the night. We tried to push the car out but of course we couldn't. We all decided to get back in the car cause it was cold. As soon as we were in the car we heard this loud banging noise on the trunk of the car. We started screaming and got really scared. Then my one friend got the idea to run to the nearest house for help. It was about 1/2 mile away. So we all got out and ran like crazy falling ever couple feet! When we got to the house there was a party going on so a bunch of guys came to help get the car out. We told them about the banging on the car. When we got to the car there were hoof prints all around it and a trail leading to the woods! Freaked us out!! We haven't been down that road in the winter again!! True story.

I thought aliens were trying to contact me once. Honest truth.

I was living in Singapore at the time and had my own phone line. I would come home in the afternoons from school and there would be strange messages on my phone with bleeps and other weird noises. I saved them all and didn't tell anyone about them for awhile because I was honestly scared. (I was in middle school.)

Finally, after saving about 100 messages on my machine, I told my mom and she came upstairs with me to listen to the messages and figure out what in the world I was talking about. The second I started playing the messages for her, she just started dying laughing.

It was a fax machine leaving messages on my phone.

At 13 I started having some bad pain in my lower stomach. After about a month of going to the doctor and a ultrasound they found a grapefruit size tumor in my body and they had to remove it.
It wasn't cancer but it was scary!
