Another universe exists in which the earth has 2 natural moons. We have stumbled into a universe (us born here in our universe) which either did not concern itself with life or was actively hostile to life. Do you agree or disagree?Explain!

Using a few assumptions and elementery laws of physics, it is virtually required that there will be other realities. If we pretend that the entire spherical volume of space of about 15 billion light years is filled with protons, than the universe has to repeat itself. The reason being, once you fill that volume the protons use up all their possible states.

Hooey. The quantum states average out in the macro world to create a single universe. The question makes no sense, since life evolves in its environment. A universe that is hostile to one form of structure (life) may not be hostile to all forms of life. (silicon instead of carbon-based?)
This is one reason why the x-files stories about alien-human hybrids don't work. Any life form introduced from an alien world would either die pretty quick or completely take over the planet. It would not just blend in invisibly. Alternate universe introductions behave doubly so.

From what I've read this is a hypothesis that is taken seriously in some views of quantum physics but I really simply don't know enough about quantum mechanics and physics to answer. It is an interesting idea to explore but I only have a B.S. in physics. If we could somehow visit other universes that would be something!!

Wish I had more time to learn about these theories and really consider them. If you have the chance maybe you can discover the answer by studying and exploring these ideas. Good luck.

sorry, quantum physics only has to do with measuring the energy levels of electrons in relationship to each other, there are no other universes. You cannot check out, you cannot "slide" into another. You are home, You didn't come from somewhere else..When you die you will stand before GOD, and then he will tell you where your eternity will be spent. So get it right now, this is it, you don't get another shot at it..

Well, the world we are living in now is pretty dangerous so there's one universe, dangerous universe. The other world you are talking about is caused by levitation for a reason. The levitation freed a country from war because the person levitating is using their country of nationality, safe universe.

Sure, Dude. So, if we "each live in a seperate universe", and I pull out a pistol in mine, fire a bullet in the direction of the head which only *seems* to be you, what happens in your universe?

I'd invite you over to try the experiment, but in MY universe, it's time for bed.

I neither agree nor disagree because there's no way to prove OR disprove your notions.

Maybe, but it's kind of a moot point. We're stuck in this one, so we may as well try to do better with it.

But in the other reality, wouldn't there only be one reality?
