Maybe not such a stupid question folks..... Gas do they pump it straight into the shop No!It has to be delivered through a series of pipelines to a gas plant where it is has to be processed.... could be called... yes! a gas station but not the sort that sells the gas to us gas guzzelers though .

The gas station came first.
The first gas stations sold moonshine.
The first cars ran on moonshine.
Moonshine is simular to today's
E-85 ( Ethanol ) which is 15%
gas.
By law, some gas has to be added so
the moonshine is not drinkable.

OK a dumb q really deserves a dumb answer.
but this q is so dumb that someone like me that can usualy giv a dumb answer straight away cannot even think of a dumb answer. Why would someone think of asking such a dumb q. Im all up for some fun in askin and answering dumb q's but when a q is so dumb that it wastes time and space on the web and a waste of your points makes it dumber than just plain dumb.
I can understand a logical dumb q like the chicken or the egg or some other dumb q that is funny itself but is also entertaining to answer and read answers to when dumb, but funny, answers are given. but askin dumb q's that have obvious answers shows how clever the asker is. on cleverometre this q would probably bust up the scale when it tries to calculate the dumbest figures but cannot go past the set dumbness it has been set to.
I like yahoo answers it just shows us that there are ppl in the world who can just come out with dumb q's and get dumb answers that r so lame, not because of their answering technique but because the q is so dumb that it makes you wonder and probably makes you brain go dumb trying to think of somthing clever to somthing so dumb that it devalues the cleverest answer.
think before you post.

Ive been told years and years ago when there were only a few cars on the road people bought there petrol from the chemist shop.

I would go with Gas obviously.........We have know about for hundreds of year, its only later on that we found out how to harvest it.
