In Internet Explorer choose tools (top left of browser)> Internet options

Delete Cookies
Delete History

And you're good to go! :)

(You can also get into internet options by Start Menu > Control Panel > Internet Options)

Later,

From the menu bar go to Tools > Internet Options > "General" tab > under "History" click [Clear History]. If don't want IE to record the websites you visited then set "days to keep pages in history" to zero.
