The moon orbits the earth. The earth and other planets orbit the sun. The sun is the center of out solar system which is part of a galixy. This would suggest that the sun and other stars are also orbiting something that is in the middle of our galixy. What is in there. What is the sun orbiting?

You're almost correct.
The moon doesn't orbit the Earth, the moon and the Earth orbit one another. The Earth is much more massive, and "wobbles" about in space due to the moon pulling on it. They both orbit a common point called the "barycenter", which is a point within Earth itself not quite all the way to the surface.
Our sun is much more massive than the other planets, but it is also pulled by the planets, not just the Sun pulling on them. We don't notice its wobble much. But we have identified over a hundred stars out there in our galaxy that have big planets orbiting them making them wobble. That's how we know there are lots of other planets out there.
So......really all it takes to orbit is lots of mass. In our galaxy, all the mass from all of the other stars contributes the gravitational pull to keep all of the stars orbiting about the center. Also......most astronomers believe there is a great deal of mass at the center of the Milky Way galaxy, and many of them believe there is a black hole there providing much of the mass.

Hi,

The sun is not orbiting they say. The whole galaxy is turning around then.

So you may say the sun moves along with the galaxy motion like all other planets. But the other planets in solar system have a special job which is moving also around the sun.

our sun is in orbit with other starts and other galaxies.

Most now think that there is a black hole in the middle of most galaxies, so our sun in in orbit with this black hole.

One might also say that we are in orbit with the rest of the universe.

I am not sure about that Massive Black Hole at the center of our galaxy, but our solar system is revolving about the galaxy... One wonders if our galaxy as well as expanding in our universe is also revolving about the point of the Big-Bang.
Enjoy thinking about that all night long.... :)
