Is there a special skill needed to dream in color? A lot of people I know only dream in black and white.

Actually, some of my dreams are in color and some of my other dreams are in black in white....also some of my dreams are in all red...weird..

hm this is baffling to me as i have never dreamed in black and white and as far as i know, none of my friends dream in black and white. at best i've had dreams where there is a central color theme but still i will see other colors when "called for".
i think the Colors (or lack thereof) one's dreams are made of depend on a very wide variety of things, both within the individual's genetics and for 'reasons' beyond most people's everyday grasp. i wouldn't be surprised if collectives of individuals from the same locations (or even backgrounds) dream in a specific way compared to groups from other parts of the country/world...

I've wondered that myself at times. I dream in color, but have talked with people who claim to dream in black and white. I don't think I'd care for that myself.

I cannot answer why we dream in color, but you can dream in color or black and white. I do it all the time.

just depends on ur brain and how it functions, and i dont think there is a skill to change it. i dream in both black and white and other times i dream in color!

i have dreams both in color and black and white. some ppl think that when u dream in color it means that its ur astral body leaving ur physical body and having an "edventure" or w/e u wana call it. and a black and white dream means that its just ur mind making it up

we dream in color because we see in color. maybe the people u know watch too many old movies

you only dream in color if your eyes are slightly open. Color is made from light, without light your brain doesn't interpret color.
