Normal is such a broad term when it comes to this. It can come over 40 days and for you, that is normal. You see? You never know, you may get 28 day cycles yet, but it's possible you never will and that is still ok. After you have kids, everything will change on you. And when you get closer to menopause, it will change again. If you ask me, there is no such thing as 'normal'.
Don't worry, you are just fine.

If you get it around when you usually get i within 35-40 days as long as its in a range it doesnt have to be 28 days thats just the average for most women but everyone is diffrent. If things seem way off dates try seeing a gynocologist. Just for good measure but if the days are around the same ex. 34 38 32 ect. then you should be good. Hope this helps!

You might want to discuss this with your Gynocologist. However, I can tell you that mine isn't the perfect 28 days either. Sometimes it's 30 sometimes it's 35, sometimes it's early, sometimes it's late. Depends on your body. If it's always been this way for you, and your Gyno doesn't see a problem with it, then don't worry. Not everyone is the perfect 28 days, 3 day cycle woman.

It sounds like you may have a hormonal imbalance.
The #1 hormone - because it can affect the production of all the other hormones - is insulin. Ask your doctor for a fasting insulin blood test . Ask for a copy of your results. 10 or higher is abnormal for an adult.
Also ask for a saliva test. This test will tell you if any of your feminine hormones are not at the best levels. I do not like doctors who prescribe anything to regularize a woman's periods without testing first. When that happened to me - the shot he gave me switched me from low blood sugar to diabetes.
You may want to check out www.hufa.org, and click on the symptoms link to see if you have other symptoms of an insulin imbalance.

That isnt normal. I would ask my mother or guardian about seeing the doctor about your cycle-he/she can help you keep it consistent. I have a problem with that-but Now that i use birth control it keeps me on the 32 day cycle. Its good that you are counting though that will help your doctor with some insight on whats how your cycle runs.

It took me years to get on a "normal" cycle I wouldn't worry too much about it unless there are other things that are making you concerned. Then I would go see a gyno. You could also get on the pill to regulate them better
good luck!!!

A fair amount of women's cycles never regulate all the way. If you're worried about it, you could see a gynecologist. If not, and if you're not having any other problems, it sounds fairly normal to me.
