There is actually a big difference between the two.

~ Differences ~
Cyber advertising is more 'interactive' since you can have "Click Here" link and graphics that change or move or even react to the mouse.

Pint advertising is just plain and boring and at present cannot be changed once it's out there.

~ Cost ~
Costs can seriously vary between the two.

Creating Cyber Advertising doesn't involve the cost of ink and printing and stuff where as Print Advertising has the extra cost of printing it which uses Ink, which isn't free.

In theory, Cyber Advertising should be cheaper than print advertising but this may not be the case at all times.

~ Efficient, Affect & Effectiveness ~
Both Cyber & Print advertising can have a different level of effectiveness. With print advertising you can make one striking advert over one page which get's peoples attention more than if it's just half a page. You can also use colours which helps to make it stand out and draw peoples attention to it.

With cyber advertising you can make it easier for the 'audience' to find out more about something. You can create a clickable image or grapic which can then be clicked on and lead directly to another website realting to the advert. This website could have a form to submit an enquiry or whatever else you want.

Both can be effective but this really depends on various 'needs'.

A lot of web marketing is results based, so ppc (pay per click) and pay by performance, so can be more effective and certainly more measurable than traditional print. Nevertheless a place for both.

Well, for one thing, you can't clip a cyber ad out of cyberspace and take it with you to the store, or use it to comparison shop.
