Playing for Juventus five years ago, Zidane butted Jochen Kientz of Hamburger SV in a Champions League match, also earning a red card.
Eight years ago, Zidane was red-carded for stomping on an opponent while playing Saudi Arabia. At this World Cup he collected two yellow cards and was suspended for France's third group match against Togo.
On Sunday, his penalty kick got France off to a fast start. He chipped the kick into the air and goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon dived to his right. The ball sailed over Buffon, hit the underside of the crossbar and dropped over the line.

First of all nobody knows what was said.
Secondly this is not the first time Zidane has done something like this. For people that are football fans only during world cup Zidane is a graceful precence on the pitch. But actually he is a very dirty player. that has stomped on a guys head before earning him a 6 game suspension. Also in Juventus he was suspended on numerous occasions for similar incidents.
France also got a penalty that was not deserved. **** talking will happen in every game. And Zidane was running his mouth the whole game. After that bull **** PK too. And how ironic is that Materazzi also scored the goal.

What else could have Materazzi said to send fury to Zidane's brain and let him snap like that. Nothing worse than divers now entering racial slurs onto the pitch and knowing Materazzi, the clean play he is ( yeah, in your dreams), obviously shouted something towards Zidane.
FIFA is becoming a joke with this flopping on the field and they SHOULD be enforced to book and player that flops around clutching his ankle, even though he was hit in the stomuch.
Instant replay needs to be established on the field for referees because clearly, the Argentine referee was clueless at what Zizou had done until he noticed the motionless Materazzi flopping on the field and his Linesman waving his arms around.
