Being an Asian myself, I would have love to see at least ONE of our Asian counterparts up there in the Top 3 place offs representing, lol.
However, the favorites such as Brazil & Argentina showed a somewhat lacklustre performance this year=(
Frankly, I was all for England to make it to the semi-finals, but was side tracked due to Wayne Rooney's infamous Red Card incident.
So, I'd to agree with you on Germany although I'm leaning more toward the Les Bleus. They've a good goalkeeper in Barthez & players as Zidane & Henry.

I was amazed by Portugal
In 2002 they get outed by America...they came back in 2006 with Figo, Ronaldo, Deco, Pauleta, Sabrosa, Miguel the list goes on.
Portugal truly played as a team unlike Brazil, and England.
But between France and Italia
I was rooting for France, Italia didnt even deserve to be in the semifinals, with taht **** call from the referee against Australia.
Zidane already has a world cup titel in 1998, he had a great career why not end it with a head butt.

i think so too. to bad they lost will at least third place is good. they should had won. With No.11, 20 and 13

I think German too, they are young with great ambition and they play a very attractive football. They don't deserve to loose in Half final but life is just unfair. May be luck will stay by us in the next WC

i think italia shouldve won and they did. cannavaro is so amazing and he absolutely deserved to lead his team to victory. they were great and kept building throughout the word cup. im so happy for them. forza italia.

i think it went to the right team...they were so good in all their matches....Germany is good but don't have many key players...They depended mainly on Ballack and klose...but Italy has many keys...
