Does Bernie Taupin really have a brother with green eyes?

He wrote a song for Elton John that talks about a new baby brother and he describes the boy as having green eyes. Is all this for real? Or did he make it up?

i do not know but i only read that he had a sister! I never heard about a brother but he could have. On one of the Elton John Albums (i think his greatest hits one from the early 80's) shows Bernie Taupin with his sister.
