Ok lot of people, especially men, have probably thought about this already. I have heard lot of people saying that men should not carry cell phones in their trouser pockets, because the radiation can cause to your reproductive systems , increasing chances of becoming impotent and may even increase your risk of cancer....so first question...is this true...how concerned should one be..?

Second question, going by the same school of though placing a laptop on your lap and working can cause the same kind of harm, due to the radiation emitted from laptops. Some might say that newer laptop monitors do not emit so much radiation, but what about when you are connected to a Wireless network which most of us do these days...so is that harmful then, using a laptop on your laptop.? (The name laptop now seems quite ironic, if it’s not safe to use on your lap).

I heard a story about a cop who went sterile because he held his radar gun between his legs.

I heard of a study in Sweden or somewhere, where someone had a brain tumor, the shape of their cell phone antenna.

Hold a fluorescent light bulb tube up in the air in an area where there is high-tension powerlines, you know the big high one's that stretch for miles and miles, and the tube will glow!

We should be concerned, but there's nothing we can do about it.

The Concept of Science and its discovery is being changed day by day. Sometimes the things are statistical rather then proof. Radiation from cell phone and laptop may harm the certain part of the body but how extent--- there is controversy but definitely not as much you know.

Reserve my plot, because I am on my laptop and cell right now.
This is an everyday activity for me. I can use the laptop on a desk or bed, but does it matter, my head is still close to the thing.

But good thing I'm a woman and keep my phone in my bag, maybe the leather soaks up some rays? :p

The radiation levels are very low, you are only at risk if you are using your cell-phone and laptop for hours everyday for years.

(Oh damn, I might get radiation poisoning).
