Captain Planet was kinda lame. Stock ethnic mix of characters, with the American of course being the dumb one. Simple-minded plots, simple solutions, all the originality of day-old oatmeal.
Want a cool cartoon? Try "The Tick", or "Futurama", or even the first season of "Animaniacs" (before the good writers quit the show).

ahh i used to love that show!!! i know the whole intro song! i always wanted the redhead guy to get with the blonde russian chick somehow. everyone else was just boring. and quami was the most annoying with his monkey. but other than that, loved it!
