seriously, none of the refs saw it until they showed the replay of it.. zidane deserved to stay, he was sneaky enough that made every1 miss it lol.. but i think the italian said something really disrespectful to make him that pissed off..

Clearly Zidane is retiring from international football after this game ( like he said ) and I think he did it in an relatively awesome way. Zidane has already had his share of championships(Euro,World Cup,Champions League) and why not reward the Italians and their diving a championship? Just to show how FIFA officials are becoming very low human beings to allow them to flop around like a bloody fish out of water. Clearly, Italy does not deserve this championship and just goes to show how pathetic FIFA has become.

The screen in the stadium did not matter because the fourth official saw the head-butt and after consultation with the main referee, he made the decision which was absolutely deserving. I felt sorry for Zidane but he did wrong!BTW I'm not an italian fan neither am I a french fan but i think the french played better overall. The italian defense was also excellent!

No he wouldnt have because the line judge caught him.
Verbal assault is not grounds for physical violance regardless of the circumstance. If you watch the games carefully you will notice that Zidane was runnign his mouth the whole game as well.
Besides. Zidane has done this plenty of times before.
And the PK they got was also not deserved. To that character with the Zidane name up there. How was the ref bad? Yes he was bad, he helped out France. Watch the highlights on fifaworldcup.com you will see that the PK was bull ****. And also you will see how Abidal is trying to kick Grosso during Pirlo's freekick./ France and Zidane got what they deserved.
FORZA ITALIA.

No. Officials don't look at the screen much less make decisions based on replays on them. Though they probably should. France would never have gotten their PK and Italy would have been allowed their second goal had replays been allowed. Zidane's action was caught by the 4th official or or the assistance referee.

Zidane reserve a red card. Not matter what Metarazzi said, he shouldn't have resort to violent, especially at such critical game (World Cup Final)! The act is definitely a red card regardless of whatever reason! He should know that very well.

Actually, I think the screen in the stadium didn't show the replay of him doing it that's why the audience, especially French fans, got confused why he got red-carded.
I don't think he could get away with it. The pitch is just surrounded by cameras and people doing footage of the game.

Of course not. It was totally obvious. If you want to know, I think Zidane should not be allowed to play for the rest of his life. Plus, France lost because of him. Maybe he should go to the "guillotine"! Or back to Africa! France's exhibition made me sick!
