Grass looks greener when veiwed from an angular perspective. Viewed from above, that is, standing directly in it, one can see all the spaces of brown dirt. So, to say that the grass is greener is an illusion.

From the number of cows I have seen with their heads stuck between the strands of barbed wire eatng the grass "on the other side of the fence", I would say that they definately agree with that saying... The grass they were reaching for looked no different to me than the grass in their own pasture...

Greener......... will it usually means your green with envy of someone else or the excitement of something different in your life sounds like it would be exactly what your looking for.... once your there it is probably about a 2% chance of turning out like you thought it would be..........best advice I ever heard is ..... bloom where you are planted..... meaning that you make the best of what you have at the moment... and keep moving toward your dreams......

it depends on the circumstances, i mean if i have something really good and i look at something not so good then no, but if that other thing is better then yes. so it just depends.
