The Pennsylvania legislature has passed a law that will eventually raise the minimum wage in the state to $7.15 (by July 1, 2007 for companies with over 10 employees, a year later for really small companies). Does this mean you will get an automatic raise? No. If you are making more than minimum wage, your company is not obligated to raise your pay.

no you will not get a raise, but you will end up paying for for normal services at places that pay minimum wage. So really it wont help anyone and you will definitly be worse off.

They've been toying with that notion for a year now...and no, they already decided if the minimum is raised it will not affect anyone else.
