When police recover large amts of cash in a drug raid, where does the money go??

Each City usually has it set up differently now. Sometimes it goes into a Drug rehab program, or helps infants born on drugs, you need to ask your city council members and mayor.

In Ga. it goes to fund the narcotics division of the police dept. The money from drug dealers is spent catching drug dealers. Kind of ironic, isn't it? They may pay to get themselves caught.

Yep it goes towards the drug task funds and supplies more cops, weapons and equipment for the next bust.

Personally I think it should be used to feed and educate people that are needy.
