he hasnt quit the English Team......he only quit as a captain....due the amount of pressure that was placed on him as Captain and that many people stated that the 2006 was Englands year in the world cup, all because its been 40 years since England won their first world cup with the talents of Sir Bobby Charlton and George Best and so they stacked so much pressure for England and For David Beckham......heck Beckham's the Best Football Player in the world and i think that alot of people look up too him and anticipated that Beckham was the one who would bring the Trophy back too England after 40 years, as WORLD CHAMPIONS!!!
