defintely cannavaro, buffon had to do nothing in the penalty kicks.

Buffon is generally better. But for today, I'd have to say Cannavaro - he got the ball out of some dangerous situations that Buffon could not have gotten to. Also, Buffon was really not with it with the PKs.

In today's finals, Cannavaro. But on the whole Buffon did a better job than the entire Italian defence until today.

Buffon. No goals during regular play. One penalty kick from in the box by Zidane. He is AMAZING. Though Cannavaro is the captain and did an amazing job on defense, still have to go with Buffon who came up with the big saves.
