Around 10 days after the start date of your period, your vaginal fluids will increase because you are ovulating. I have not ever seen "brown" fluid, however. Normal fluid will be clear, maybe somewhat yellow, and kind of slimy...you may have to wipe a few times after your use the restroom. Not sure where the "brown" is coming from, so you may want to give your doctor a call and see if he/she wants you to come in to check it out. If you are experiencing any itching, burning or "foul" odor, then you definitely want to have it checked out.

A brownish discharge is dried blood. This could happen for a variety of reasons.
If your hormones are in an unusual pattern because of pregnancy, miscarraige or even pre-menstral, you can see this kind of "spotting". What's happening with you now? Are you trying to get pregnant? Could you be having an early miscarraige? Did you recently start a new birth control? Are you perimenopausal? This information would be helpful.
A yellowish discharge indicates an infection of some sort. In this case, you need to go see a doctor. An untreated infection can cause scarring in the tubes and cause infertility or tubal pregnancy.
Best of luck to you.

As the discharge is not cheesy white and also itching not present so it may not a fungal infection. You have not mentioned about any foul smelling discharge so there is less chance of Trichomoniasis. It does not indicate any Pelvic Inflammatory disease because there is no lower abdominal pain and fever. It is most probably the discharge from your uterus and may be it is menstruation but to be confirmed and get proper treatment you should consult a Gynecologist. But you should not be worried about it, whatever it may be, is not a serious condition.

is there an unusual odor as well?? could be a yeast or bacterial infection (a yeast infection may or may not have the accompanying itching and burning). Make an appt with your gyno and until then, be sure to wear cotton-crotched panties (no synthetic fibers). If you are diagnosed with a yeast infection, there is a supplement called "Acidophilus" that you can buy in the vitamin aisle...it's not necessary, but when taken daily it can keep yeast infections from recurring.

Sounds like a yeast infection. But personally, I would go to a doctor if I were you. There are over the counter creams and stuff for yeast infection, but you might need antibiotics or a prescription treatment for it, if it's really bad. Also, yeast infection can be passed back and forth sexually between you and your partner if you don't treat it, if you are active in that way.

You may be having a vaginitis (yeast) infection or some other kind of infection. www.mayoclinic.com may give you some information on this.
I agree. Make an appointment with your gynecologist.

Sometimes blood can be brown if you are only spotting a little. Maybe you are ovulating? Go for a pap smear to find out for sure.
