Racists can come from any ideology. The racists I've met personally tend to be more conservative than not, but can be found in any political party.
Note: I am tired of Republicans bringing up slavery and the Civil Rights Acts as support that Democrats are racists. These were Southern Democrats who eventually broke from Democratic party to form their own party the States' Rights Democrats aka Dixiecrats. Some of these became Republicans (Strom Thurmond, Jesse Helms), or either supported Republicans while remaining conservative Democrats.

Typically Racism is bred by ideology; it is the notion that others (Politicians) are smarter and/or superior to the people (Voters). The ideology that best embraces this is Socialism, and National Socialism. This political and ideology create a system were the Voter is reliant on the Politician for Welfare, Medical Care, and overall safety. This of course is what the Democratic Party believes.
For example: President Roosevelt, Executive order 9066 the internment of 110,000 Japanese Americans based on skin color.
But it was also the Democratic Party that tried to stop the new party, the Republican Party, (in existence for 6 years at this point) from freeing the Slaves which lead to the bloodiest of America’s wars.
And of course the civil rights act in the sixties, which could not have passed with out the republicans ( although Democrats will hijack this issue).
But the ideology of socialism doesn’t stop there it also believes that the state is all powerful and good. This of course flies in the face of religion, so they seek to ban that too. And criticize and imprison those who disagree with them. Well the lesson here is; let’s continue to keep the Democrats out of power, for a safer place that God can look down and smile upon.

In a broad sense, every racist needs to embrace Social Darwinism (i.e. the belief that some human beings are biolgicallysuperior to others and that superiority will eventually play out in terms of social success).
Historically in America, both political parties have supported or manipulated racist ideologies when doing so helped their cause. The Democratic party was, of course, the party of slavery. While after the 1965 Civil Rights Act, the Republicans adopted a "Southern Strategy" to win over white racists.

Racists are people who discriminate against others based on the perceived race of the person. Racism comes in many forms and cultures from the Nn-Nothing Party, Nazis Party, Right Extremist Nationalists and so forth, no one political ideology has an exclusive hold on racism, but Nazis did use the pseudo-science of racial theory to do unspeakable crimes of genocide. Racism also motivated the slaughter of Native Americans during the western expansion of the United States as well as motivated the way in which blacks were enslaved by the slave trade in the United States.

Racism is not based on political ideology, but political ideology can be based on racism. You can have any political ideology and still be a racist, even if the two ideas are contradictory....remember hippocracy is not uncommon among humans.

Racists come from every political party and every race. Think about the Arabs and Jews. The one most Americans think about are blacks and whites. The whites have the Ku Klux Klan and the blacks have the NAACP, in my opinion both need to be shut down and stop the race baiting.

I am afraid that racists can not be clumped into any one particular political party. You could say that a racist is anti-welfare and therefore in the Republican Party. However, you could say that a union member is racist and therefore he would probably be in the Democratic Party. Right?

Racists are people who believe they should get special treatment and benefits solely because of their race. A person of any race who believes that is of course a racist. Politically most racists are democrats who express their support for racial benefits such as affirmative action in employment and education. Republicans normally reject plans that pay special benefits because of race, but support some programs that give special benefits because of poverty, regardless of race.

The democrat feeds on racism. The puppets just can't understand how Bush has more minorities in his cabinet while John Kerry employs them as maids and butlers.
