Come on, who really thinks that? I seem to recall watching that when I was like 5, and I didn't even know what gay was then. Kids obviously like them and that's all that matters. Some people really have WAY TOO much time on their hands.

bert and Ernie wer two names stolen from the movie "It's a Wonderful Life". They are not supposed to be gay. They are just not main characters. They are there to make other characters seem important. they are faces in the crowd. If they seem gay it is because their characters are never developed.
