i assume you mean -0.3x<9,
x>9/(-0.3)
x>-30

0.2x>2
x>2/0.2
x>10

Now, you must find a solution which satisfy both, that means x>10 is the answer because when x>10, it is also >-30.

-0.3x < 9 --> x > -30
0.2x > 2 --> x > 10

so...

x > 10

If x is greater than 10, it is also greater than -30.

In first case x<9/-3<-3
in second case
x>2/0.2>10
Or do you mean anything else?
