Go to your public library, check out a book on voice training, try some of the methods suggested. Record your voice before, during, and after these excercises. Continue daily, and I believe you will hear an improvement.
Many professional news commentators and actors have had extensive voice training. I'm sure some continue well into their career.
Give the vocal and breathing exercises you read about a try.

Hi I'm 13 too. I am still mistaken to be a girl on the phone too. Some guys develop their vocal cords early some are late and some are in the right time. Also, people's voices change when talking on the phone. I have a girl cousin who's voice is really big like a guy's but when you talk to her on the phone it's like talking to a normal-voiced girl.

Nothing wrong g with you, your voice does not make you gay, even though you stated you are.
You're 13 and your voice will still be changing well into your late teens, so relax, I do not have feminine voice, but I do have a phone voice where I drop to a deeper tone, try it, so many friends tell me I have a phone voice, they say I get deeper and more masculine sounding instead of the boyish voice I have.

There is nothing wrong with that. Some men have higher voices than others. And some women have low enough voices that they are mistaken for men over the phone. Don't worry about it, it's very common.

You're mistaken as a girl that you're not... that's your problem. Ha ha ha, gay at 7 and still 13 getting worried about gender identity!!! You might've explored the whole 'world' by the time you get to be an adult.

Your voice hasn't changed yet. Just wait a while and your voice will start to 'crack'. Then you know you're heading for your voice-change.
When someone mistakes you for a woman on the phone, just say, "I'm a guy, thank you". That will embarrass them, not you!!!

Maybe your voice hasn't changed yet. You're young. But so what. If somebody takes you for a girl on the phone, just let them know they made a bad guess, and move on.

your voice just hasn't changed yet. give it time, sweetie. when it starts cracking, do your best to talk in a low tone and your vocal chords will get accustomed to it - then you'll have that deep sexy voice all the boys will love.
