It really depends if you want a short term or long term relationship. And I think you know the answer to this question if you do understand what kind of relationship you want in the first place.

This is a recent revelation my friends have noticed with me.
Apparently, I "dismiss" guys they think are hot and see long-term potential in not-so-good-looking but warm hearted guys!
Honestly, sure i'm not gonna take a second glance at the hot guy but what I tend to do is lead them on & when i know i've got them turn them down and say "I'm looking for someone serious"-I just don't consider guys who know they're hot to be long-term material. Too superficial and shallow- also the chances of being neglected/dumped are very likely & I can't handle that. I like to crush 'hot guy' ego by doing to them what they do to girls.
I see long-term potential in nerdy types who hung out in the library and read books at lunchtime. When friends and i start talking to a bunch of guys in a bar or something- my friends would go for the hot ones (talking about biceps) & I go straight for the quiet ones in the corner. They're much more interesting to talk to cos they're not self absorbed, give ME more attention (:P), they're more down-to-earth and loyal. To answer your question- I go for the average lookin guys with personalities.

I am looking for a guy with a little of everything, average looking with a good head on his shoulders, great personality, funny, charming etc, is the kind of guy that I would be more inclined to date. I would rather be with someone with perfection on the inside and a little imperfection on the outside. Beauty fades.

I think Id choose the average because mabey he will treat me better
