I don't think that is an unreasonable thought. The fossil record shows almost no link beween the hominds of a gazillion years ago and cro-magnon man. He just sort of shows up one day 25,000 years ago.
I have often wondered how and why the ancients were so well versed in astronomy. I mean who sat and kept these mental notes year after year as to where the celestial bodies were and why derive any information from it?
And nearly all of these cultures did look to the stars. What did they know that we don't?

It appears we are all chasing our tails, No body has proof where we come from, it all hearsay from other written source that goes way beyond our time and science has never proven otherwise. It's possible we evolve which I consider unlikely, Dropped by space aliens...now that's a thought, who knows, we could have been cloned from another species, ah!, the almighty, yes, it possible, but could primitive humans look at advanced space traveling being as Gods? Just a thought.

properly, shall we see, evolution is obviously how the species are created, yet evolution does not handle how life grew to become into created interior the 1st place. now many "creationists" want to throw out evolution by way of fact it fails to handle the 1st life in the international. properly it is stupid. all people can see the divergent life in the international and the similarities: horse-zebra-donkey, tiger-lion-cat, etc and understand that they share elementary characteristics (study: ancestors) Now TOE on no account addresses how life started interior the 1st place, and it does so in reaction to technological expertise. TOE has no information or predictions on how life started, and is no longer so boastful to declare any. The creationist perspective is straightforward, god did it. properly sorry, properly it quite is as good as any concept on how life started, it falls very short whilst one looks at how life can diverge in reaction to successive generations and mutations. i come across it very stupid that the creationists argue against evolution. Its a loosing conflict, same by way of fact the flat international, and the earth based image voltaic device. in the event that they proceed their arguments, they only seem extra ridiculous. The set of 'lacking links' that they consistently ***** approximately constantly gets smaller and smaller as geologists keep digging. And whilst scientists finally combination up some airborne dirt and dust, and inorganic chemical aspects, upload the lightening bolt and create some amino acids etc, and finally end up with some thing organic and organic, properly then the TOCL the thought of springing up life, will open up that how life grew to become into created debate too.

God could have made man, and man could have evolved. Plus, a man could have been brought here by aliens all could be true. None of these rule out the other. who am i to say one is true and the other false. All could be true.
