They're all capable of supporting Vista however performance wise I would have to go with the X1400, if those are your only choices. If you can get at least a X1600 or Geforce 7600 Go. If not then avoid the X1300 and avoid the 7300. I'm saying the X1400 is the best choice in that list. And steer clear of the GMA950, it's slow and it takes system memory for its own use. Yes the GMA950 is capable of running Vista but it's just so darn dirt slow and offers pitiful performance.

My advice is to not placed vista on there and use the money for a extra acceptable video card. to extremely take earnings of vista excellent classification you would favor a DX10 card that is nonetheless very expensive. There are nonetheless too many themes with vista, yet in case you insist, check out this card.

256MB NVIDIA® GeForce™Go 7300 TurboCache Should work just fine, and you can also find out what works with vista at microsofts web site. There are some good laptops out now that are vista compatible, be sure to check with the vendor and see if it's vista ready before you buy.

As MS Vista is still at the Beta stage, the Hardware Compatibility List is not as detailed from what I can see as it is for XP.
What i suggest is to go the link below and look through the recommendations, and also bookmark the page for future guidance.
At this point, unless you will have a real need for Vista, stay with either XP Home or Professional, and give MS time to "debug" Vista before you think about buying it after it is released.

Windows Vista will be backwards compatible with most hardware. For more information you might want to compare your laptop to the system requirements of Vista on their homepage. microsoft.com/vista
