Italy beat France today in the World Cup. In the first few minutes of the game Henri took a blow to the head but recovered. In the early part of the game France scored, followed by a quick Italy score. At the end of regulation the score was 1-1. In the first fifteen minute overtime there was no score. In the second overtime there was no score, but Zadine got a red card for headbutting an Italian player. The game was decided in penalty shots, when Italy got 5 goals and France got 3.

Yes they did.And alot of them got hurt real badly I don't know what side i was on because I am Italian(my dad it from Italy) and my mom is from France.

Yes Italy beat France.
In the full time both teams scored only one goal and so the game proceeded into penalty shoot outs. In penalty shoot outs, Italy scored all the 5 and France fell 2 short.
As a result Italy won (5 - 3) France. And became the champion for the year 2006.

Italy won deservingly so. France's last two goals were on penalty kicks! That's how they beat Portugal and tied with Italy. The penalty to Italy was suspect as well as denying the second goal to Italy but in the end Italy prevailed. If France won on penalty kicks everone else would be cheering but since Italy won the sore losers only cry...for 4 years!!! Forza Italia baby!!!!!!

Yes! Viva Italia!!!!! Italy is the champion of the World today. This is their fourth World Cup win! They won 2 World cups in the 1930s, one World Cup in 1982 and today, 2006! Ciao.

1-1 in OT and 5-3 in Penalty kicks. France missed the second PK and when Italy kicked the 5th it was game over. France did not get to kick their 5th try.

France played better football the second half but ITaly DESERVED their goal...not that cheap *** Penalty Shot Zidane got! anywho if you ask me the score should of been 2-1 that second goal WAS NOT OFFSIDES!
