Geez...first you'd better have a good reason as to why you have had so many careers in your life, unless they all were promotions. Second, you need to decided what type of job you are looking to get into. When I was hired by them, I was looking to obtain my Series 007/006 and insurance licenses. At that time - which was several years ago their policy was to study at the office 60 hours a week, take the exam and pass it. If you didn't pass it, you were fired.
From what I hear, there are many tests you need to pass before you can get into the actual position, but they may have loosened up by now. Third, you could be bold and call the HR department to see if they are hiring, what positions are available (they will ask you what you are looking for - have 2-3 in mind) and get the NAME of the person to send your cover letter and resume to. It's extremely important to ALWAYS have a cover letter - you stand out from all the other people.
Lastly, make sure your resume has power words or industry specific jargon, in case they put it through a computer. When writing your resume, ensure that there are more words than spaces (have more than 1-2 bullets explaining the work you did for a company), relate your experience to the job and include only the details that match with the position you are applying. Ensure that your font size is no more than 12, margins no more than 1", and correct spelling and grammar.

First you need to go on the website www.americanexpress.com. When you go on there, look at careers and put in a general listing to bring up all the jobs that are available in your area. American Express is a great company to work for and they are also international as well. I am not sure where you are located but they may have a center near you. You will have to fill out a lengthy on line application and be prepared to "paste" in your resume and references. You obviously have a lot of experience in various banking departments which could possibly translate to a position offered to you. Take your time, apply on line truthfully and good luck!!

go to the Amex website, they have hundreds of jobs posted there. find one that meets your qualifications and apply.
I applied for a position thru their website, and was called for an interview within a few days, so I know they check the applications that come in that way.

I suggest you seek advice elsewhere rather than from the bunch of numb-skulls like myself who hang out here.

Start by applying, then sit for an interview and then see where things go from there.

go to their website; I"m sure they have a Careers tab in which you'll be able to check out current job openings and/or submit your resume to them.
